We hold the buyer's payment before sellers transfer the permit—if the transfer doesn't go through, we issue a full refund automatically, so neither side loses out.
Is Campiio for people who buy up campsites just to resell them at higher prices?
No—Campiio is for genuine campers looking to pass on reservations they can't use. We strictly prohibit reselling for profit, in line with provincial rules. This helps keep prices fair and protects campers.
How can I verify that payment/reservation is secured before I transfer the permit or send payment?
Sellers: you'll see the buyer's payment confirmed in your Campiio dashboard before you start the transfer.
Buyers: once you pay by card you are guaranteed a reservation transfer or your money back.
What fees will I pay—are there any service fees or hidden costs?
Sellers list for free and pay no fees. Buyers pay a clear 10% service fee to cover platform costs—no surprises, no extras.
How long does a full transaction usually take—from listing/payment to permit transfer?
Listings often sell within a week. Transfers are completed by the seller through the official provincial site.
How do I list (or find) campsites on Campiio?
Just create a seller profile, fill out a short form about your site, and click publish. Buyers can search by date, park, or campsite type.
What support is available if I get stuck during the listing or buying process?

What payment methods are accepted on Campiio—can I use e-transfer or only credit/debit cards?

What happens if I don't find a buyer—will I lose my reservation?
You keep your reservation until you decide to cancel it. There's no penalty for listing, and you can remove your listing at any time.
